It is a world in ruins facing catastrophic climate change. The book’s focus is not only on the events of the near future but on the National Security Council (NSC), the elite force.
Summary
The book is about a world that is ruled by the wealthy class that is powerful and corrupt. The climate is a catastrophe and the sun’s heat is deadly. This is not a world for a man with a good heart. Fleury uses the character of Hogan Duran to show this, Hogan was a good man who was forced to resign in shame after failing to save his partner from a deadly bullet.
He goes from serving cruel bosses, to digging garbage bags to survive. He drowns himself in poetry to help himself survive the ruins of poverty. After four years he is invited to the NSC, an organization that protects the wealth of the rich and the powerful. Hogan also notices that the NSC is hiding something and it will do everything to protect the secret.

Kill code is first in a trilogy of an exciting dystopian science fiction series set in a world facing climate catastrophe where reality is not as it seems. It will captivate fans of fantasy adventure.
The characters selected, make the book more interesting because they are strong and the reader can connect with them. The writing of the book is good and easy to read and understand.
